You know your standard cartoon cat-and-mouse shenanigans? Cat chases mouse, mouse clobbers cat with sledgehammer, canned laughter ensues. But what if we had the cat's side of the story? And that's what this is, a sympathetic ear to the poor feline who's just trying to remove the invading pest and stop it from emptying the entire fridge and only gets horribly injured in return. Enjoy!

I know there were a few Tom & Jerry cartoons where they worked together or some shit, but most of the ones I remember involved Tom trying his hardest to stop Jerry from eating the food or waking the sleeping dog or whatever and Jerry was a smug asshole the whole time.

yes yes yes! this exactly! my brother and I were just discussing this while watching "Tom & Jerry" the other day how we always rooted for Tom to win and on the rare occasions where he DID best Jerry it was a beautiful thing! also my brother pointed out to me this smug smile Jerry would give the audience at the end of several of the cartoons where he won (most of them sadly) so your "smug @$$hole" description of Jerry at the bottom of the parody is very fitting! 5's!
You squeaked by with a pretty good parody here. Interesting how it was not Tom And Jerry specific, but still very entertaining.
This is good! I'm another who never quite got the humor of Tom and Jerry. Porfle Popnecker did a fantastic parody with this very same twist called "When Finally Tom Gets Jerry." (2011-9-26) You're probably too young to remember the OS, "Along Comes Mary" which came out in 1967, but it's a very difficult song to parody because of its extremely complex rhyming scheme. So what Porfle did was flat out amazing
I was originally going to do this song too and call it "Big Mouse" but I think yours was better than mine could of turned out
As a kid, I was actually rooting for Tom for the most part.
Never a really big Tom and Jerry fan, but I do remember rooting for the cat when I did watch it. It's very similar to the movie Mouse Hunt with Nathan Lane and Lee Evans (and Christopher Walken). I HIGHLY recommend that movie to everyone. But anyway, nice work with this one!
(Artistry) yeah, I liked how it wasn't Tom and Jerry specific, but definitely an homage to the comedic cartoon pair. I've always thought there was a double standard in these situations. Yes, a cat's gotta eat, and a mouse has the right to live, but come on! Some of that stuff was borderline homicidal! Thank you: end rant. Good work.
