Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Then-PFC Bergdahl left his post and returned more than once, before being captured in 2009, to meet Afghan civilians with whom he sympathized due to American aggression. U.S. President Obama secured his release after two years' bargaining, releasing five Guantanamo prisoners. TOS was a plea for safe return of a loyal rebel comrade.
[Obama is standing with Bergdahl's parents in the Rose Garden.]

Barack:

Taliban,
Hear my care;
When I plead,
You have always been fair.
He was young
And afraid;
We'd oppressed,
He redressed.
Send him home;
O'er sea foam
Wing him home.

He's like the son I might have known
If God had granted me white son.
The cost was high -
Five for one.
Now soon they'll fly
To Qa-tar,
And I am told:
Band won't flee far.
Think they'll cease
Stinging ploys
When among
Heaven's virginal joys.

You kid-nap,
We forgive;
Set him free,
Let him live.
Soldiers die;
Tell me why.
Let them live;
Wing them home,
Ne'er to roam.
Bring them home!

The ending reflects his aversion to "wars of choice" and penchant for withdrawal without victory, a sort of coitus interruptus.

In line 6, "dismayed" fits the situation better than "afraid." Lines 12 & 13 might be:

He's like white son I might have sown,
But odds were scant with Robinson.

to clarify the hereditary improbability with Michelle as mother.

Bergdahl belongs in a military prison and the five released should be executed for killing thousands of innocents. A soldier doesn't have wars of choice, just a duty to fight all enemies foreign and domestic. He was AWOL and dishonored his comrades and the uniform, allowing six fellow rescuers to be killed that went looking for him. And, he abandoned his country, his language, and religion. He is a traitor.
