Just a small town girl, owns a cat that she named earl
She took her cat on the train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, for him cat fur was no joy

They were in an empty room
The smell of fur and cheap perfume
For a while they would share the night

Earl was shedding
Up and down the boulevard
His stench would wallow through the night
Red eyed people, living just to find their lotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants the pill
Tryin everything to keep his his cool
But he knows he can’t
Sits her down to have a talk
He decides they’ll take a walk
Says the sneezing never ends
Get Earl gone
