Woo! It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, here I am with a song inspired by a Windows XP sounds version of The Trooper I found one day on YouTube. I posted a comment called "Iron Maiden's little-known computer-themed hit, The User," and I had the urge to actually write something to that extent. Enjoy.
The second time that you had to boot
You sit there askin' "Now what did I do?"
You boot up Norton thinkin' you've been hacked
You watch your surf speed go all to crap.
The error sounds - the fun begins
'Cuz in this starin' game, no one wins
The smell of hot air from the cooler's breath
As you view the Blue Screen Of Death.
O-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ohhh!
O-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ohhh!
The desktop shows again - hit Control-C
The wall of text, the BSOD
And as the fight goes into Hour Two
The screams of rage, don't know what to do.
You call up tech support to get a hand
Wait for hours, they don't understand
Help is so near yet so far away
You can't stand this dance another day.

You switch to Mac, run on their OS
Gotta think that you're free from distress
You press the button and to your surprise
The errors pop up before your eyes.

Head on the desk, one more frustrated groan.
