Parody Song Title:

"Remember Hobbiton"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Frodo's trek across Mordor...
Hiding from monsters before my eyes
Yesterday Shelob, tomorrow Uruk-Hais
Walking cross Mordor, Mount Doom looking higher
I will throw that ring deep into the fire.

Orcs in abundance, and orcs all around
Orcs looking for us, we've still not been found
Sauron's palantir - the all seeing eye,
Still looking for us as we pass on by

Gollum has fallen before my eyes,
The ring on my finger will stifle his cries
From the horizon, Gwahir flying higher
I shall return to Bag End, the Shire

Hmph...see what I get for never listening to Iron Maiden? I'll see what I can find in order to come back and vote, Phil.

This one's from the original "Iron Maiden" album... expect to see a load more Maiden parodies, there's a project afoot to do every single Maiden song (that's about 15+ albums worth...)

Not familiar with the original, but as simply a poem about Frodos' plight in Middle Earth I give it the "five" star treatment!
