You read all about the kangaroo
When you were just a child,
A devil if you get too close,
It lives out in the wild.
I always wanted to see one
And some day I'm going to,
But for now I'll drink my Lindeman's
And dream of kangaroos.

Kangaroo, it hops across the sand,

But it can act just like a grouch,
When little baby kangaroos
Are tucked inside its pouch.
I know someone who hit one
Because it wouldn't move,
There's no speed limit in the Outback,
Poor little kangaroo!
