"Sweet Peas (Are Great With This)"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Sweet peas are great with this
Homemade pie with whipping cream
The salad is good with some Seven Seas
Everybody, check out these dumplings

Some of them want some tofu
Some of them want to have soy milk, too
Some of them want to eat Zulu
Some of them want a vegan stew

Oooh, yeah, whoa

Sweet peas are great with this
Moo goo gai pan, turnip greens
I drizzled the veal with some melted cheese
Everybody, look at these cake rings

Oooh, yeah, whoa

Hold your plate up--keep your plate up--pile it on
Hold your plate up--pile it on--keep your plate up--pile it on
Hold your plate up--pile it on--keep your plate up--pile it on
Hold your plate up--pile it on--keep your plate up

Some of them want to eat tofu
Some of them want you to eat it, too
Some of them want to eat pu pu
Some of them think it tastes like poo

Hold your plate up--keep your plate up--pile it on
Hold your plate up--pile it on--keep your plate up--pile it on
Hold your plate up--pile it on--keep your plate up--pile it on
Hold your plate up--pile it on--keep your plate up

Sweet peas are great with this
Hunan lobster Cantonese
A tasty Ragu alla Bolognese
Everybody's scarfin' up something

Sweet peas are great with this
You can't buy this recipe
I learned it from Mom on my bended knees
Everybody's beggin' it from me

Sweet peas are great with this
Who will try the Spumante?
Martini & Rossi, a dry chablis
Everybody's havin' a drinky

A tasty treat indeed. If you're gonna take the president's advice and eat your peas, you might as well enjoy the entire meal.

I can't stand to eat peas in any form or style. If the Prez says "eat your peas" them I'm gonna ask him if I can trade my bowl of peas for his beats ( I like beats cooked and pickled in any way - Barack don't like beats. Even switch, yeah? ; ) ). Sweet peas don't go (or even smell) good with anything in my cookbook but your parody is a well-done 6 course meal!

Thanks! I don't think my mom ever made beets so I don't even know what they taste like. I always liked sweet peas in my mashed potatoes.

Better yet- I always pour hot Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup (no milk or water added) over my peas and potatoes and mix. Goes well over the pork chops too!!! I was always a food mixer which mom hated. In our German family food was eaten by quadrant with the plates rotating to each serving!!!

I love the green bean casserole made with mushroom soup. My mom also used to make a great dish with it mixed with ground beef and Chinese vegetables.
