Parody Song Title:

"Here Come the Wrens Again"

Parody Written by:

Royce Miller

The Lyrics

"melon house"--the watermelon shaped bird house they're living in
Here come the wrens again
Building overhead neath the awning, see
Building overhead and with great emotion
I see them fly in the open wind
I see them carry twine and twigs
They want to get ready for young ones
Those house wrens ain't big

So small birds, fuss at me
Like wrens will do
From the tree
Like wrens will do
Sing a song
Like wrens will do

Here come the wrens again
Bringing little bugs for their prodigy
Tearing bugs apart and with great devotion
They flitt around near the drainspout, see
They dart around like wrens will do
They want to dive into their birdhouse
Do you have some wrens too?

So small birds fuss at me
Like wrens will do

Here come the wrens again
Living overhead in their melon house
Living overhead and with much commotion
(here they come again, here they come again)
I see them fly in the open wind
I love to watch the things they do
I see them dive into their bird house
Are the wrens around you?

I agree with what Stuart said, Royce. And your parody makes it easy to imagine a music video showing a flock of wrens flying around and landing on Annie Lennox!
