Song Parodies -> "CROQUET!"

Original Song Title:

Original Performer:

Eric Clapton

Parody Song Title:

Parody Written by:

Loose Bruce Kerr

The Lyrics

{from "Loose Bruce" Kerr, a regular on the Dr. Demento Show}
(fade in: crickets)

If you want to get down
and mostly stand around
If your life's berserk
but golf's too much work

It's so quiet, It's so quiet, It's so quiet

If you're tired of squash
and even polo's a wash
If you're wife's affair
is with the butler, there
..If they do it on the floor next to your bed
while they think you're asleep..
....Perched on top of him
in total disregard of my
personal feelings in the matter,

It's so quiet, It's so quiet
It's actually quite quiet!

(fade: crickets)

I half wrote this a while back but thought the original was too short. Well done!

I used to think he was saying Croquet too. But I think the butler and wife part takes up a few to many lines.
