OK - Godfather 1 - Sonny gets whacked at the toll booth on the Jersey Turnpike. Here is what the Corleone's might dedicate traditionally in Sonny's memory after the hit as it is seen and heard through this Italian/American parody writer's eyes and ears. The author bases the depictions of this parody on real life experiences growing up in one of many neighborhoods in America that are known as "Little Italy".

Found their bite, worse more than their barkness,
Pall inflicters, schemed and slayed and whacked our knight.
They so conspired, a crime planned kill abhorly,
Throws them fear, on the matter of a life.

Too late, the grave itself is calling,
It's when you dance, estranged can go your life.
He was mislead, the scheming that it led to,
Foes did lure, a hefty kind did try their right.

Tone down those gu-un-uns blown down Sonny, (tone down those guns)
We'll go and dirge ourselves, in praise of someone's memory.
And dis-allow a stagnant slice of life, for felony,
Be snoozing in the drink, we'll strike those guns gunning down Sonny.

So realign. oh. in quite Roman trick kind,
So seeth we wants, we'll cease the way they deal.
We're discharging, just our cause we think to bring them harm,
It's disgust we have, oh they'll need luck to help them deal.

We let those son-on-ons gun down Sonny, (we let those sons)
Best go and purge themselves, hang a rope from their balcony.
We've just avowed to fragment all their lives, so wonderously,
They've lost our everything, and now the guns goin' down heavy.

We'll let our gun-un-uns come down heavy, (we'll let our guns)
They best research themselves; look back upon their history.
We'll disembowel a segment of them that we'll slice them, one - two - three,
You're losing everything, 'cause Mikey's guns' comin' C. O. D.

John - Yeah back then the toll would have been about 15 cents but the worse part was he paid for the toll and never got to use the service. I'm pretty sure that the Coreleon's got that money back and then some. Thanks for your comment.

Alvin - Yeah this song is slow and makes for a good dirge effect. I tried to capture that in the words. Thanks for noticing.

Merry - I was hoping someone would have like "Barkness" - And for that Salvo Tore we'll get out the Italian helicopters and you know what they sound like.

Pip - Glad you didn't abhor this work. Thanks.
