"Do You Really Want To Freeze Me?"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

a man's wife likes it cold. ICE COLD!
Intro: I feel froze
I can’t feel my toes
I can see my breath
I’m so cold
Why is this so?
The thermo turned down

Verse 1: Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?
Hypothermia ain’t easy
Temperatures I cannot stand
On my heart the ice is formin’
Guess my color
I am blue!
Eskimos, they like it cold see
That’s a thing
A thing that’s through

Chorus: Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?
Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?

Verse 2: Two degrees
Above freezing
I could snap off my right thumb
Wrapped in blankets, constant sneezing
Warm me up, you are so dumb
I’ve been saying this since July
It’s December, it’s getting old
This guy wants to leap in fire
At least there, it is not cold

Bridge: It is warmth I want from you
So turn up the heat
Everything is frozen too
I’m stuck to this seat

Chorus: Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?
Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?

Chorus: Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?
Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?

Do you really want to freeze me?
Do you really want a frozen man?

I respect the way you write parodies but I think this could have been better with some variation in the choruses. Still this was fantastic with great imagery and reminds me of Mr. Freeze from that terrible movie Batman and Robin which is actually a plus in my book. That movie and character deserves to be mocked. This was good but like I said a bit more variation would have put this over the top.

Thanks Matthias, good advice, I'll work on it.

Not a bad parody really, but on this one I'm afraid I just didn't get a big laugh anywhere, no bad lines, but no great lines either. . .so good but still not up to your potential, but keep at it, you are a good writer. . .

I can tell you were out of your comfort zone on this blayde...some of the lines seemed rather tossed off, like you wanted to get it done quickly. Funny idea though.

(Artistry) An interesting idea, but a little off on the execution, particularly in the choruses. Still, not bad, but like others have said, some more variation would really made it something.

(Artistry) Yep, put a different "cold" joke into each chorus and you'll have a really (n)ice parody here.
