Song Parodies -> "Hit For Hire"

Original Song Title:

"I'm On Fire"

Original Performer:

Bruce Stringbean

Parody Song Title:

"Hit For Hire"

Parody Written by:

Malcolm Higgins

The Lyrics

hey little girl now you're daddy's gone
and I buried him right beneath the lawn
he played with fire
oh oh oh hit for hire

tell me now should I beat him up for you
or just shoot a bullket right on through
he was such a liar
oh oh oh hit for hire

sometimes I take money and a knife maybe
sharpened or dull, and jab it six inches deep
inside their skulls..

they're never waking up bloody sheets soaking wet
with a red stain running on their mangled little head
only you know who's the die-r
ooh ooh oh hit for hire

Glad to see this one done... so much better than TOS. And bonus points for corrupting Bruce's name as suggested. 555

This sounds like an episode of The Sopranos...which is good. When my kids were young we had a little doll we named "Bruce Stringbean". I used to sing "Born In A Pumpkin Patch" and wave the doll around. They don't think it's funny now. Oh Well...!
