The Lyrics

BILLY JOEL IS AWESOME. Definitely my favourite non-current artist. On to the parody!
Bobby's turnin' on his 'puter tonight
Flashing lights from his Windows 'welcome' screen
Well, you may think the internet is for porn
That's not all, there's a thriving social scene

Say h3ll0 to 'Pedia
Say heLlo to Myspace
Say hEll0 to Wikia
Say H3lLo to book: Face

Johnny is your average, typical troll
"You've no soul, if you like this worthless whore"
And Bobby, well, he doesn't know what to do
Not sure if he feels right here anymore

Say g0odby3 to 'Pedia
Say goOdBye to Myspace
Say gOodby3 to Wikia
Say g00dbYe to book: Face

Johnny keeps trollin' fast
It must be a crime
His logic breaks Bob's brain, sir
Whoa
Johnny's way outta line
Bob doesn't have friends
On this forum for Bleach, sir
For Bleach, sir

So Bobby's hittin' the proverbial tracks
Couldn't hack
Couldn't face the troll again
The constant barrage of "n0 wAI" and "STFU"
Bob's afraid he'll be called a n00b again

Say gOodby3, IMDB
Say g00dbYe to 4chan
Say g0odby3, GITP
Say goOdBye to fun LANs

Bobby sits on his chair
He is still online
He doesn't post a thing, sir
Whoa
He just watches in shock
Guys come to defend
And take out their banhammers
Banhammers

So Bob replies with "Can I learn to do that?"
They react
They say "It is easy, friend"
Inbox is flooded with friend requests and tips
How to stick to one's guns and try again

Say goodbye to forum trolls
Say goodbye, they're so screwed
Say hello to mod status
Say FTW
GITP = Giant In The Playground, the host of the awesome webcomic Order of the Stick. FTW = For The Win, but is pronounced 'Eff-Tee-Dubb-El-Yu' for the parody.

Trolls: Ban, ban, ban. This parody: Five, five, five.

Not bad... The grammar in the choruses kinda sucked. Book: Face, I mean you should have kept it as Facebook and then found something online that rhymed with book instead because it just read bad. Other than the choruses though this parody was good.

Hey, I liked this! I can't really criticize the choruses. 555

I understood the vast majority of this, and so enjoyed it. And I thoroughly disagree with Matt about the choruses ( unless he's joking :c]). I like the rearrangement so it rhymes with myspace. Hard to follow in some spots, but Billy song can be like that.

I agreed with Glen that this was hard to follow in some spots...it might be my lack of proficiency in reading leet. or L33T. Did I just make that word up? Am I like an unhip spinster aunt now? Hmmmm...whatever it's called. ; ) Nicely paced, though...well done.

Good timing since we've had a few of these recently. A little hard to follow in places, but it worked for me. I also thought the choruses were fine.
