The Lyrics

These names, places and events are listed for the sake of rhythm and closeness to the original lyrics, and are not necessarily in chronological order. And they don't necessarily have anything to do with Our Fearless Appointed Leader With a Purpose, though all took place during his illegitimate term of office.
Harry Truman turns in grave, 9/11, Abu Ghraib
so pathetic, so provincial, George Pinocchio.
Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, telling lies on television
North Korea, Venezuela, jail in Guantanamo.

Wolfowitz, smart bomb, Saudi oil, hate kingdom
J-Lo, the bling and I, Affleck catcher of her eye.
Ashcroft glower, obscene, England's real unhappy queen
Occupation, liberators, Saddam Hussein goodbye!

We gotta get Bush fired.
Once he wasn't flying, now he's always lying.
We gotta get Bush fired.
We did not elect him, now we must reject him.

Hamid Karzai, Musharraf, Georgie's rocker, he is off
Ridge alerting, stocks are hurting, big mental block.
Red phone, go alone, credibility is gone
big statue falls, lots of awe and shock.
Einstein he's not, Brooklyn's got a bombing plot
lining pockets, Gigli panned, Bush lives in fantasyland.
Barfly, he's a pest, Bill O'Reilly ain't best.
Cheney's mouth going south, trouble like the sewers!

We gotta get Bush fired.
Once he wasn't flying, now he's always lying.
We gotta get Bush fired.
We did not elect him, now we must reject him.

Tony Blair, Jacques Chirac, Halliburton, Enron flack!
AWOL, didn't fly, somebody else went to die!
Lebanon, pretzel fall, California recall!
Special Forces getting sick, children drinking arsenic!

Uh-uh-oh!
Buddy-buddy Ken Lay, space shuttle breaks away
Laker hoops, Castro, Jessica's a bozo.
Hate-filled GOP, picking on Ted Kennedy
Rumsfeld is a psycho, Britney's got the bongos!

We gotta get Bush fired.
Once he wasn't flying, now he's always lying.
We gotta get Bush fired.
We did not elect him, now we must reject him.

Hannity, Limbaugh, OxyContin in his maw
fill-ins, chillin', where's the next invasion?
Bigots in Arabia, British Beckhamania
Ole Miss, Trent Lott, medicine can't have pot.
John Paul, he reflects, transfer priests for kiddie sex!
In N-J, Guv is gay, what else do I have to say?

We gotta get Bush fired.
Once he wasn't flying, now he's always lying.
We gotta get Bush fired.
We did not elect him, now we must reject him.

Negroponte, U.N., John Poindexter back again
Bob Jones, fibbin', John McCain gives in.
Farewell Reagan, Palestine, terror with an airline
evil axis in Iran, pull back from Afghanistan.
Wheeling-dealing, bumpy ride, heavy-water genocide!
Foreign debts! Homeless vets! AIDS! Crack! Baghdad Tets!
Survivor on foreign shore! Simon Cowell's martial law!
Bush-Cheney 2004? I can't take it anymore!

We gotta get Bush fired.
Once he wasn't flying, now he's always lying.
We gotta get Bush fired.
And when he is gone, Jeb is coming on
and on and on and on and on...

We gotta get Bush fired!
Once he wasn't flying, now he's always lying!
We gotta get Bush fired!
He must be rejected, Kerry gets elected!
We gotta get Bush fired!
Once he wasn't flying, now he's always lying!
We gotta get Bush fired!
He must be rejected, Kerry gets elected!
(repeat 'til November 2)

I absolutely loved it! As Ingeborg said, the pacing/style matched that of the original very well, and I give it a perfect score. Nice work!

Excellent job on this song here, Mike. I think my highlights were: "J-lo, the bling and I" and "Occupation, liberation, Saddam Hussein Good-bye". You wandered around a little bit in terms of subject matter, but given the difficulty of the song, I could easily write it off as 'Mike keepin' it real'.

What they said. Can you get fired from a job that you stole? Four more weeks, four more weeks. Bush: Wrong for the World, Wrong for America - and just, plain Wrong.

Well done!

Very nice job. Pacing was excellent, though you stretch it a bit in some parts. It still worked and fit in with the pacing of the actual song, so still very very good. Only thing I can criticize as far as facts, the pope himself did not transfer the bishop. Cardinals and bishops in the United States were the ones guilty for doing the pedophile shuffle. I bet if John Paul II wasn't in such a difficult state of health, he would have dealt with this issue better. Yup... I'm Catholic. Gotta defend my hierophant.

Thank you, everyone. This was a real pleasure. And no, VH1, this song is NOT "awesomely bad." (Most of those "50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs... Ever!" are just awesomely bad videos. I mean, "I'm Too Sexy"? Great song, stupid video. John: I had a feeling that line would give the impression you got, and I apologize, but the rhythm and substitutions were just right. And I gotta defend John Paul as well: We're both Polish.

Bush is the greatest living president we have, he is a Christian Republican, pro-life, anti-gay, anti-stem cell, and pro-family values. You can't get much better than that, and it is the liberals and their sick, leftist, anti-God propaganda that is really destroying our country. all 1s for you. (if there were a zero, i would give that to you instead.)
Hidden smart-ass - March 24, 2009 - Report this comment
... You're saying those things make a good President of the United States? No wonder every other country in the world hates America so much... Religion has nothing to do with politics. Pro-life isn't exactly unique to him, seeign as most people like life. Anti-gay is descrimination, and is therefore actually BAD, anti-stem cell is close minded and against his apperant "pro-life" attitude, despite what some people beleive. Pro-family? What family? Not mine, that's for sure. I'm more inclined to vote for someone who has, uh, intelligence? And now, with this big fuss people are making over a black president... if you ever want racism to stop being a problem, you can't go around making a big deal of things like that. It just widens the divide between the races. As for anti-God propaganda, I am yet to see any here. But, allow me to say that propaganda that deminishes the image of an imaginary figure is not exactly considered to be a bad thing. In fact, more people have been killed in the name of God than for any other reason. As for destroying the country... you've missed a lot, haven't you? America's been destroying itself for years. Bush just helped by diminishing the world's view of the USA. Now that that's out of my system, allow me to say that this parody got an overall 5/5 from me. Thank you.

To Hidden Smart @$$. . .Good God you hit so many of my opinions, I caught your comment in the latest comments because you capitalized BAD, which always sticks out to me (common acronym to my name as well) so I read your comment, and I'm glad I did, just wanted to say you hit a lot of nails on the head (except the pro-life thing, think you may want to read over pro-life VS pro-choice, neither are really descriptive as to what they actually stand for since most people who are 'pro-life' are also for the Death Penalty. . Do as I say, not as I do syndrome I guess) but good statement. . .
