The Lyrics

Fresh on the blackboard! ;-D - Teenage Frankenstein YouTube Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnzm5yMOf5E
My mind can really walk
I can make my chalk talk
People think I’m insane
I don’t believe in Zen
I’m got an I.Q. of 210
I have got little friends

They all call me a geek
They all call me a nerd
They think my ideas
Are dumb and absurd
Is my knowledge too bright?
Is my mind just too wise?
I spend my whole life learning and learning

I am Professor Einstein
The scientist with the gifted mind
I am Professor Einstein
The finding of the atom
Was my design

I’m a numeropath
But I still suck at math
My plans are lengthy and sketchy
My thinking cap’s light
Always stays a bright white
I am not a wise-guy

My eyes are always hooked
On the pages of books
No sense of humor
Didn’t talk until four
Got my facts memorized
In Psychics got a Nobel Prize
I spend my whole life learning and learning

I am Professor Einstein
The finding of the atom was my design
I am Professor Einstein
The atomic bomb just
Blew my mind...Whoa!

They all call me a geek
They all call me a nerd
They think my ideas
Are dumb and absurd
Is my knowledge too bright?
Is my mind just too wise?
I spend my whole life learning and learning

I am Professor Einstein
The scientist with the gifted mind
I am Professor Einstein
E=MC squared was my design
I am Professor Einstein
The finding of the atom was my design
I am Professor Einstein
The atomic bomb just blew my mind
I am Professor Einstein
The scientist with the gifted mind
I am Professor Einstein…. (Repeat and fade out)
There is still space on the blackboard for V's and C's ;-) PLEASE! Leave me some! :-)

For the first line in the choruses to fit, the whole thing has to be sung like this “I Am Pro-fes-sor Einstein” Just like “Frank-en-stein” in the original song “Teenage Frankenstein” By Alice Cooper.

Come on, somebody V and/or C! This parody took me 3 hours to write! :-( and it was NOT an easy OS to do! :-(

More votes come with more accuracy... ;) Check, say, the Wikipedia article on "atom", and you'll see that the concept goes back to ancient Greece and India, and was formalized well before Einstein.

Also, too much repetition. Most of us consider varying the choruses and lines as demonstrating more creativity and less monotony, even if the original repeats.

So, despite the fervent plea, I don't think you want my vote ;) , although there are some very good lines here as well. Polish that diamond-in-the-rough! :-D

(psst -- one also tends to get more v/c if one v/c's more of others' songs. Not with fawning false flattery [how alliterative! ;)] but the ones in which you're truly interested, and your honest comments, favorable or otherwise -- like this one. Einstein is certainly a topic that interests this writer, and a high-quality parody would have drawn a good review. Cheers! )

Mark Scotti-Thank you for your C and V! Tommy Turtle-Yes, I guess I should have spent more time in the library on Wikipedia street. ;-D and I do agree that at time, I do sound like a mocking bird with the chorus lines in my parodies, but I do try to avoid that the best I can. New ideas for chorus lines are hard for me to come up with sometimes, so I just simply copy and paste the already written ones. Not to save time, but to save from getting a headache! :-o I am glad however, that my topic did interest you, and I hope I can do more topics that will in the future. A BIG THANKS to all who voted/commented! :-) :-)

A worthy topic, indeed. Ditto TT's comments about variations making a more interesting and entertaining parody. There must be many more things to mention-- like the fact that Einstein played the violin! :)

Thanks for taking the comment constructively. :)
However, just spending three hours isn't an automatic ticket to a great response. OK, my record is three minutes ;-D, but others have taken days, or weeks, or in a few cases, *months* to come to fruition -- not 24/7, of course, but adding lines here and there as they occurred. In terms of elapsed time, sometimes probably 12, 15, or maybe 20 hours, possibly more.

(Yes, I have no life at all.... LOL ! ... Actually, when there's either time or ideas, writing occurs.)

I'd plug some of the ones that took many, many hours, but I'm over my "shameless plug' limit for the day. ;) But consider a 7- or 8-minute OS, with all choruses varied.... you know where my catalog is. Anyway, keep polishing! :-D
