Song Parodies -> Beat Some Asses
| Original Song Title: | "Cheap Sunglasses" |
| Original Performer: | ZZ Top |
| Parody Song Title: | "Beat Some Asses" |
| Parody Written by: | A Room Full Of Monkeys |
In the same vein as Rick Duncan's "Beat Your Children" (LOVE that title). I suppose I should mention that I don't actually advocate violence against children and I regret each and every time I've raised my hand to my kids, no matter how fun it was.
When you wake up in the morning, and the kids jump on your bed
The first thing you do, is you smack 'em in the head
Forget that crap you learned, in child-rearing classes
Time for the Dad to BEAT SOME ASSES
Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!
Then before you know it, they've stayed up all night
Now they're oversleepin', and puttin' up a fight
Miss the stinkin' school bus, cause they're slow as molasses
Fo' sure the chauffeur gonna BEAT SOME ASSES
Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!
(Insert comically violent sound effects here)
They get a little older, they don't like what you do
Get themselves a lawyer, they say they're gonna sue
Have to bide your time, til the restraining order passes
And get up in there and BEAT SOME ASSES
Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!.......
The first thing you do, is you smack 'em in the head

Enjoyed the lines 'no matter how fun it was' and '..comically violent sound effects..' Great fun, as usual, always enjoy it when you guys monkey around!
funny as hell....5s....my grandfather ran a school for wayward mules and he beat asses daily
Thanks for the plug. I never beat my kids, but when I was married to their mom I had to resort to beating something.
A good beating requires good pacing; after all, you wouldn't want to be beating off.... three 5's at a medium pace....
Good song.... great parody.... decent pacing. What really made this pacing off was a VERY necessary fade in the middle of the song to accomodate 8 track players.... or was that "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide"?
DKTOS very well, but who cares. Great intro. Great lines. Great comedy.
