The Lyrics

My tribute to Starfire!
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Well, she's a Tamaranean girl
Now on Earth she lives
Great at ass-kickin', though that hair
Has gotta be pure knot-and-split-end hell
Sad she can't return to her homewo-o-orld
Because her sister's a big douche
Sold as a slave to her, somehow kee-eeps
A consistent joyous look in her eyes gree-ee-ee-ee-ee-een

Oh yeah, she'll fight
Blast energy with ease
Super strength and flight (all day and all night)
That's our Tamaranean gi-i-irl

Absorbin' ultraviolet light
That's how she can blow through all her enemie-ies (ooh-ooh-ooh)
And why Koriand'r's a sight
Her outfit more suited to relaxin' upon the beach
She's not a huge fan of clothi-i-in'
But there's more to her history-y-y
Than how much bare skin the artists want on show
This orange sweetheart's a pea-ea-ea-ea-ea-each

Oh yeah, she'll fight
Flirt with Nightwing daily
Save the day in time (with pupil-less eyes)
That's our Tamaranean gi-i-irl
Ooh-ooh-ooh

Star...fire
Star...fire

Uh-huh-huh
Uh-huh-huh

Fun fact: I was originally gonna do this back when I parodied "All-American Girl", but I went with a different superhero (that being Wolverine) for reasons I can't remember cause that was last year, I barely remember what I had for tea two weeks ago.

Pacing seemed spot on...and if I had ANY sort of knowledge of Starfire, I could comment on the topic itself. But alas, like most things, this one went soaring over my head.

I know nothing about Starfire either so this was all greek to me as well. I'm sure that if I knew something about her I would enjoyed this a lot more.

Starfire WHO?

DC character. I did a parody of her a long time ago here but with nearly 160 Superheroes and villains, I can't remember the title! I may do another version. I have original Starfire in my collection.

To be fair, I think much of anyone's knowledge of Starfire was from the Teen Titans cartoon series.

(Artistry) Max hit the nail on the head for me. Most of my knowledge of Starfire stems from her character on Teen Titans. From that show, I do know some things about her, like her appearance, her generous and sweet character, and her love affair with Robin (later Nightwing), so I was able to follow pretty well. Good tribute, very simple, not really a hilarious look at the character, but I liked how you hit the over-sexualized nature of her appearance because that's something funny about her. I also liked the "this orange girl's a peach" line. A little play on words with fruit, very clever (then again, maybe I'm reading into something unintentional). Overall, as far as the technical aspects go, it's solid, just not overly funny. I'm sure someone with a deep love for the character would get a kick out of this.

Again, there are several DC Starfire characters. My Starfire is this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Starfireclassic.jpg
