The Lyrics

A "Tribute" to one of my favorite actors... Jack Black!
Watch him!

Got his start on primetime TV
Made “Tribute” with his band Tenacious D

He is so hyper and he acts so crass
He’s not too bright, He’s Bumblin’ Jack Black
With the Frat Pack stack

He’s the voice of a Kung Fu Panda bear
In Prep School teaching those kids how to rock

He played Shallow Hal (Hot girls are fat)
Has no stage fright, He’s Bumblin’ Jack Black
Good for laughs, laughs, laughs
Ooh!

Such a clown that he starred in “The Muppets”
Stomach’s round with a scruffy bearded chin
(Yeah, yeah)
He’s found in “King Kong” by Peter Jackson
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)
He made mounds of cash making us grin

In “Tropic Thunder” addicted to crack
Such a delight he’s Bumblin’ Jack Black
Needs his snacks, snacks, snacks

Bumblin’ Jack Black, “Mars Attacks!”
Bumblin’ Jack Black, Not a hack
Bumblin’ Jack Black, He can act!
Bumblin’ Jack Black, Has no tact
Bumblin’ Jack Black, Keep contract
Bumblin’ Jack Black, Make us laugh

Outstanding. By strange coincidence I have a Rolling Stones parody -- "Paint It Black" -- in the works, along similar lines: I see a Redbox and I want to rent Jack Black I'll check out School Of Rock and then I'll take it back...

True story: I saw the huge "Tropic Thunder" billboard in Times Square, with Robert Downey Jr. disguised as an Afroed black man, which led to the rather inconvenient caption... STILLER BLACK DOWNEY JR. "Black Downey Jr."? Oops...

"School of Rock" may have been his best one but it does depends. I do enjoy his movies for the most part but yeah.

(ABC) Great tribute to a great actor who I've only seen...twice? Not the point. 555!

Say what you will about Mr. Black, School of Rock is easily one of my favorite movies of all time. Excellent tribute (and perfect title sub) to a very funny man!

(ABC) I actually really like Jack Black because he's so frikin' insane. Sometimes he does push it a little too far (Year One for example), but for the most part I enjoy his work. And I enjoyed this parody equally, short, fun, and simple.
