Years ago, when I was submitting songs to Dr Demento, he commented how amazing it was that "My Sharona" inspired FOUR parodies that he played on his show. One of them (My Balogna)helped launch Weird Al. Another had a great line "Typin' on the keys of my SMITH-CORONA". (My Trombona?) Little did we know back then that this mockery site would bring so many of us out of the woodwork to write dozens of parodies for certain songs
