Parody Song Title:

"Lazy Bones"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

feelin' no strain...he will abstain
lazy bones is restin'...off his feet
layin' in bed...on his behind
and he makes no motion...of any kind

this ol' hippie...naps all the time
wakes for a moment...at a quarter to nine
lights up a reefer...as he's prone to do
at a quarter to ten...you know he's snoozin' again

feelin' no strain...he will abstain
lazy bones is restin'...off his feet
layin' in bed...on his behind
and he makes no motion...of any kind

always in bed...ol' sleepyhead
he won't arise...he'll be snorin' instead
this guy's sleepin'...the whole afternoon
he's flat on his back...like a human cocoon

feelin' no strain...he will abstain
lazy bones is restin'...off his feet
layin' in bed...on his behind
and he makes no motion...of any kind

he's always subdued...and he's always at ease
he's got two good legs...but won't bend his knees
comatose friend...too much time you spend...
involved in dreams...wasting time, so it seems

feelin' no strain...he will abstain
lazy bones is restin'...off his feet
layin' in bed...on his behind
and he makes no motion...of any kind

and he makes no motion...of...any...kind

Alvin - So would that make your protagonist a "Bed-Head"? Well, you can afford to give him the extra 10 winks because you're getting 5 x 3 from me...That will still leave you 5 for yourself...

Alvin - Hey, I just looked at the "Parody Author's" page and I see that you are now at "99" at the moment. If that's the right total then your next entry will be #100 - Looking forward to it.

Alvin, COOOL!!!...I love good CSN parodies and you're one of the folks here that handles 'em...I'm posting at least 2 and maybe 3 CSN numbers for tomorrow (if CG posts entries, which I think he will). It's part of a Project I thought up a couple days ago that actually is coming along really well so far and MIGHT even get done...
