This parody is based on a very severe bout of senioritis I came down with my winter quarter of college my senior year.

Perhaps it's because I'm about to graduate.

Didja think I'd get that paper done
By typing random stuff on Google?

I'm watching videos on YouTube,
Contemplating some semblance
Of inspiration for my term project.

To writing those notes for next week's presentation.
Oh, coffee! Gimme coffee! 'Cause I'm pulling all-nighters,
Thanks to my lack of self-motivation.
Yes, my brain gets fried 'round finals time
'Cause my notes ain't done and I forgot
The shit I thought I'd learned all quarter long.
I'm prayin' that I'll ace my tests
Despite my laziness throughout the quarter.

I felt like this every year I was in school. Good parody.
I had too many credits, so my senior year I only had to take 3 classes in the morning- was done by 11am and had the rest of the day to do what I wanted off-campus! Anyway, a good song-555!!!
Thank you both, Porfle and Rob. =) There was one quarter my junior year I made the mistake of taking 23 credit hours PLUS a play, which was another 3 credit hours since it was a main-season show. Needless to say, that was a hard quarter. But hey, at least I got to take better classes by the time senior year rolled around, despite the senioritis... AND I graduated on time.
