Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

For all the Hitchcock fans who were trying to unravel the mystery of the birds' swarming and aggressive behavior ... it was right there in the theme song
Why did birds
Suddenly appear
'Bout the time
You came here?
Just like me, they longed to be
Close to you

Why did crows
Gather at the school
When you sat
To smoke a Kool
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you

On the day that you arrived, the avians got together
And decided to create a scene askew
So they divebombed townfolk from the air
Pecking away at their eyes of blue (do do doo ...)

That is why
All the gulls in town (Gulls in town)
Followed you (Followed you)
All around (All around)
Just like me, they longed to be
Close to you

On the day that you arrived, the avians got together
And decided to create your worst nightmare
So they assaulted the kids fleeing school
Swarmed at you in their attic lair (do do doo ...)

That is why
All the gulls in town (Gulls in town)
Followed you (Followed you)
All around (All around)
Just like me, they longed to be
Close to you
Just like me, they longed to be
Close to you

(Ca-a-a-a-a-a-a-w, close to you)
(Ca-a-a-a-a-a-a-w, close to you)
(Ca-a-a-a-a-a-a-w, close to you)
(Ca-a-a-a-a-a-a-w, close to you)

Good one. I've been to that town and got to visit the school location.

555! Oh, I need to do a version of this OS using a Stuka (ironically with inverted gull wings) ;-D

Love the "gulls" line and the ending, as well as the entire parody.

I love the juxtaposition of this classic love song with classic Hitchcock. I agree that "Flocked together" would have worked, too. 555
