The Lyrics

This author is getting tired of all of the stupidity that seems to escalate each year as those who are few in numbers who wish to propagate their ideals on the majority in an effort to eradicate the very thought of Christmas from the American psyche. Not to mention their distaste for the displaying the Stars and Stripes and simply being patriotic is now somehow what they call non-PC.

The redneck dictionary defines PC as bad tasting as in "This here beer tastes peesy". Christmas means many things to many people and the 1st Amendment to our constitution guarantees a whole host of freedoms. These few seem to want to do an end run around the 1st Amendment.

The Germanic theme and vernacular of this parody is put in for effect as to portray the Nazi ideal in WWII of which these culture bashers remind me of and not to poke fun of any ethnic group except the Nazis. Now these guys were pretty peesy and deserve such fun made of them.

Click HERE for an example of this stupidity.

"When they came for the gypsies, I did not speak, for I am not a gypsy.
When they came for the Jews, I did not speak, because I wasn’t a Jew.
When they came for the Catholics, I did not speak, for I am not a Catholic.
And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak."

On the Wall at the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC.

Dismiss culture ve bar dis day,
Christmas Mass ve blast.
Christmas events mit cheer ve stay,
And destroy Yule repast.

You vill nix macht merry don't resist us,
Or das courts vill fight.
Church und State big troubles,
If you mix zo schlight.

Haf no elves ve'll bury vas dis Christmas,
Und euer schule kein pray. [1]
Christmas bulbs und bubbles,
Vill be trowed away.

Haf ye now no Tannenbaum,
Nor Canon; John three: one-four. [2]
State'll end what is dear to us,
Wrath doth rear at us for sure.

Future years may not be 'llowed to gather,
Will the State allow?
Ban the shining Stars and Stripes from highest bough,
And there won't be no merry little Christmas now.

Bring them back all those olden days,
Lose these scoldin' days so sore.
Faithful trends we hold dear to us,
Never hear of such no more.

Now I fear we won't be 'llowed to gather,
As the State beats brow.
Clang your shrine's zinc bell with all the loudest pow!
Take back yourself your Merry Little Christmas now!

We won't make it easy to dismiss us,
We have heart; We'll fight.
You won't burst our bubbles,
Not the least bit slight,

We're taking back our Merry Little Christmas vow!
And you can keep on trying to resist us now.

[1] And your schools don't pray.

[2] John 3:14 (King James Version) King James Version (KJV) Public Domain

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.

Very well done and an interesting OS choice, Guy.... who knew Christmas had such a dark underbelly?

Wow! You made your comments and wrote your parody without a single mention of the ACLU. Very well done, Guy. Thank your for the reminder that the first amendment guarantees freedom of religion, not freedom from religion.

Malcolm, Ya Wohl und Danke.

AFW - i can nazi dem as PC. Thanks

Ann Thank you for commenting and reading.

TJC My point exactly. Thanks.

John Don't think the ACLU didn't cross my mind when I was writing this. I only thunk 'em I didn't write 'em. ACLU is a 4 letter word and I didn't want to pig up this piece. Thanks.

Wowzers. Pefectly rhymed to make a pointed political point, as Judy Garland spins in her grave. Guy gets high marks again.

Very topical write here, Guy. The same thing's happening here in the UK...the PC police want to downgrade Christmas so that all religious festivals have equal footing (in what still is, as far as I'm aware, a primarily Christian country) Now I'm all for multiculturalism, but not at the expense of history, tradition, and the will of the majority. 555

brilliantly written Guy - there is no mention of Christmas in any of our Australian stores either this year - only Joy, Love and Hope - which has been seen as an invasion of the US PC push - it's ironic, imo, that in so doing, the PC police have created more danger under the banner of good intentions than the previous title-holder, organised religion itself

Thanks and an early MERRY CHRISTMAS! to all that have commented. My expectations on the reception of this parody surprised me. Not one dissenter came forward so far to object. I appreciate your support on this matter. It is nice to see that most people and there are at least three nations represented in the comments, agree that this thing about bashing Christmas is getting out of hand.

I will also welcome any opposing views though I may not comment back on them. The parody speaks for itself. Thanks again, all! It's back to funny tomorrow.

Sir Guy, this is very nice 'Christmas' parody which becomes more precious as 'PC'ness descends upon the US!
