The Lyrics

Have you ever considered that when there's a princess chained to a rock, with some huge carnivorous monster bearing down and just some puny guy with a sword standing in its way... there may well be someone in the background with an interest in how the battle pans out? Of course, narrative structure being what it is, we always know who's going to win... or will he? Happy endings depend on your point of view...
Shakin' in the ground:
Somethin' big is comin' round.
As each foot go up and down
I can feel it.

On the waves I can see
A monster of the sea
And it's comin' here to eat
Needs a meal, it

Want that sweet bitty princess
She'll be sacrifi-hiced
She will be eaten up who-wo-wole
And that monster is huge
Will leave a knight on the tiles

So I say knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
Ain't no way you'll kill it
I tell you, knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
Else you're gonna get et

Here I am,
Prayin' for a knight's rest in pieces
Hopin' that he wont use that sword
That he'll run off
Or he'll be gored

Knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
You know it's gonna beat ya
I tell you: knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
Or else it'll eat ya

When that big monster comes
Be her chain male, if her chain let 'er
Give a bit of crunch to that monster's Monster Munch
It got fire in his mouth - it'll barbecue its lunch
He'll be glowin' in the dark;
He should forget 'er

And that sweet little princess
She's wanting her knight
So she ain't eaten up whole
And it's sheer idiocy
But the knight ain't too bright,

So stupid! Knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
Way too big to fight it
I mean it - knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
An' I'll be delighted

Here I am,
Prayin for that knight to run fast
Leavin' her alone on her own
Leavin' me here
Heir to the throne

Knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
Dragon's gonna roast 'im
Too late now: knight, leave her, knight, leave her.
So raise your glass and toast 'im
I told you: knight leave her, knight leave her
It's bigger than you reckoned
Oh dear... knight leave her knight leave her
Now it's back for seconds

(fade to sounds of crunching, munching and other monster-mealtime mastication melodies)

I didn't tie no princess to no rock! I don't believe in tying them up... might give 'em ideas to reverse the process...
