The Lyrics

The dark side of the House of Mouse...
I’ve just spotted some animal tracks
Some big eyed critter’s gonna start to act
His mom’s dead, but his end’s still happy...
All full of flowers, bright and sappy!

Watching Disney—every day
Blah-blah-blah-blah, getting sick of this stuff
Going on for years now, right up to this day
Noooooooo...
In a tizzy—when it’s played
Ga-ga-ga-ga, goes its main audience
Little babies may cheer, but me? Not today!

Here comes the evil villain, ugly and malicious
He cackles a lot, and wears some spooky-looking things
But he is toast in the end—bad guy can’t win
Falls from a cliff in meeting his end!

Watching Disney—how I bray
Aagh-aagh-aagh-aagh, it is making me go
Showing all nationwide, every matinee!
Nooooooooo...
Makes me dizzy—yet they pay
Ha-ha-ha-ha, they think it is a laugh
But I’m too old for this, so I will say nay!

Snow White ain’t dead—she wakes up!
The Belle and Beast—they will wed!
Michael Eisner, he got rich
On all this, the land of clichés!

You can never press rewind
The cheer lasts until the end of time

Watching Disney—how I pray
Ba-ba-ba-ba, to escape from this place
But I’m chained to this chair, punished for foul play!
Noooooooooo...they
Keep me busy—make me stay
Gah-gah-gah-gah, it’s a torture device
It’s a bad time to be in a jail today!!

(Ages) I hate to say it Cat, but this is not up to your usual standards. Good effort in changing the choruses each time, but I wish you had done something with David Byrne's vocal ad libs as well.

I would agree with Agrimorfee, you have done better, but it\\'s still better than I could do, and believe me, I've tried. Them crazy Talking Heads are so weird... I loved it, 5-5-5

I think "Not your Best Work" is the general conseous here. It's far from bad, but you're usually amazing, and this is only good. Great job, however, on a difficult song

To be honest, this is the reaction that I was expecting, and I'm glad you guys are telling the truth. I just wrote this last night on a tight deadline, and I knew I'd suffer for it. Oh well. I'll definitely not procrastinate for the next round.

(Ages) Um, it's not that bad watching Disney, is it? Even though I'm a Warner Bros. person myself.

I liked the line about "bad time to be in jail". It reminds me of that prison in Arizona where they make you sleep in tents in the middle of the desert, wear pink underwear, eat green bologna and watch cartoons and politicians on TV because R-rated stuff is off limits.

(AGES) I personally think Disney's days are done. But then that's me. Good job.

(AGES) I think you are just expected to live up to too much, this was great.
