Parody Song Title:

"Blue-Haired Lady"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Looks like this is the first time this song has been done. I hope somebody remembers it.
Blue-Haired Lady, wrinkled lady
Fishnet stockings with support

Blue-Haired Lady, past is shady
An exper-i-enced escort

Blue-Haired Lady, not a lady
Dressed for love, her veins for all to see

Blue-Haired Lady feels like you'll never be
Living as a normal retiree

(Big Organ solo)
(Long instrumental break)

Blue-Haired Lady, take your teeth out
Move your right arthritic hand

Blue-Haired Lady, hot as Hades
Freak of nature, friend of man

Blue-Haired Lady, don't mean maybe
Not enough social security

Blue-Haired Lady feels like you'll never be
Living as a normal retiree

I remember this song well, Jan. I'm trying to figure out exactly what this blue haired lady is doing in this parody though. It reminds me of a recent episode of NYPD blue with Medavoy and a senior lady. Well done. 5s.

My mom used to play this song all the time, and this is very good parody work. Really funny(take your teeth out...I hummed along with that!)

Jan - I missed this in the morning, must not have recognized original song title. It wasn't until I looked just now at the entries and saw "Sugarloaf". I don't know what, if anything else they ever did but now I remember this number. Good job. 5-5-5

Thanks Johnny, Guy, Royce, Paul, Red Neck, and Alvin. I guess Blue-Haired Lady now days wouldn't necessarily mean old, huh?

DKTOS, but gave you 5's anyway. From the looks of the other scores you nailed it...looks funny...I'd like to hear it.

I definitely remember this song - I hated it with a passion... you made it a lot more interesting, Jan!

And Paul, Sugaloaf also had a hit in 1975 with "Don't Call Us - We'll Call You" - a much better song.
