The Lyrics

Even though the Mueller report cleared President Trump of collusion. you couldn't tell it by the main stream media and some of the people in Congress who are flailing away trying to find something to ruin or even overturn the 2016 election. They have nothing, and they know it, but that doesn't stop them from flailing away and crying "Impeach!"
He’s flailing away,
Trying to find something that he’ll never see,
'Cause, he’ll hope there’ll be,
Evidence Trump did something so illegally,
They called for Mueller, and hoped to find ,
Something just so awful, for impeachment time,
And he tried, oh how he tried, to take him down.

They hoped they would see,
Some kind of smoking gun, out there obv’ously
But, flailing away,
They found nothing there, in the report they had
They could have read it, but did not choose
Instead they just kept on, leaking to the news
And they tried, oh how they tried, to take him down.

A gaggle of the media appeared upon the screen,
They only had one thing to say, time and again they'd plead:,
They said impeach away, oh impeach away, impeach away with us, yeah,
Don’t flail away, just impeach today, still some things to see,
Impeach away, don’t flail away, we know just what to say, oh yeah
Don’t flail away, impeach today, take him down with me

I thought that he had colluded, but much to my surprise,
Not one word that said he did, right there before our eyes!
Singing impeach anyway, impeach anyway, impeach anyway, agreed lads?
Impeach anyway, let’s start today, talk to Pelosi
Let’s impeach today, start right away, articles come from me
Impeach today, don’t flail away, impeach the prez with me...

Back-to-back Trump exoneration tunes. Nice one, John. You got 5's from me. I hope that you will contribute to my "Dem Funny Leader Hindsights" parody contest. It is on inthe00's website for the details. I will have you limited to one candidate, so don't get greedy.

Mueller followed all of the rules, including the weak one where he is not allowed to indict the president. Again, the Report is NOT a legal document determining a verdict GUILTY or NOT GUILTY.

These dudes better stop flailing so much or they're going to come undo- …. (cue light bulb appearing over my head) …. BTW, the Security Code is 5PT; I think it's hinting at something

Still puzzling over the meaning of the security code. In the meantime, here's three 5's

The lyrics are to repetitive - you could have varied them - but well written. Thanks for showing that there are two sides to everything.

You ain't supposed to impeach them too much. Too soft to touch to Electric Slowbro dude lol

2Eagle, I did try to vary the lyrics. On TOS all the last several lines were repeats of "come sail away" and "sail away"--you get the idea. That's the dilemma, I suppose, of any parody that has a lot of repetition in the original lyrics: do you follow TOS as completely as possible or do you try to break the "monotony", repetition, etc. Almost reminds me of Chicago's "Stronger Every Day" where the last minute or so is nothing but "Feelin' stronger every day". Item: you can find one of the YouTube videos where the group is in the recording studio making that very song. Check it out!

One other comment: remember "The Muppet Show"? They had a band with one of the characters (Animal?) who played the drums--he was truly flailing away at it! Sometimes The Who's Keith Moon got a little enthusiastic with his drum set, too!

^^The Electric Mayhem--best rock band ever. (Yes, Animal)
