I know it's an old topic, but I had to try my hand at a political parody.
Welcome to the grand illusion
Watched CNN and saw what's happening
Ain't this nice, Saddam had to go
His bombs were aimed, and with delaying
They said the result would be astounding
And we would be bombed from afar
But don't be fooled by Colin Powell
The interviews in those magazines
Showing fake photographs of the bombs, see
They're just George Bush's fantasy!
So we sort through all this confusion
Because this is more than a game
The weapons seem to be an illusion
And we point the finger, shift the blame
America hates competition and thus searched for blind ambition
And we don't know where they are
Someday soon we'll stop and realize what's going on
Because we still wonder where the weapons are!
