"The Town's Compliance"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

when the darkness comes again,
the curfew comes for men
we want to shop the shooting,
the mindless theft, the looting,
but yes, pull down statues of hussein
free your brain,
we need the town's compliance

freedom's what you're dreaming of
don't need kalishnikov
just like me you'll have freedom, man
he's gone now like the taliban
and the cities, and towns should have a feast,
but we need peace
we need the town's compliance

come to the baghdad square,
we'll see freedom there
and people, please come in peace
we won this to get your release
from the tyrant, who has killed for his own gain
gave you pain.
we need the town's compliance

with freedom now you vote,
the emotion you emote
all iraqis need their chosen land,
there is gold there underneath the sand
and the riches that exceed your wildest dreams,
so it seems,
we need the town's compliance

Nice and thoughtful. I liked it. I gave you a 4 on pacing as it seemed like some of the verses were missing a syllable. 5 overall and 5 on 'humor' - I realize it wasn't meant to really be funny, but we'll replace 'humor' with 'style'.
