The Lyrics

Recently, I've been reading the "Left Behind" series of books. For those who never heard of it, it's the story of the Rapture and the Tribulation as foretold in the Book of Revelation in the Bible. The main baddie of the books is Nicolae Carpathia, who pretty much own the world by the third book. Since many of the heroes in the books call him the Antichrist (or the Devil, if you would), this seemed only natural. Share and Enjoy.
(Leon Fortunato) Ladies and gentlemen, from the Six-Six-Six Ampetheater here in beautiful New Babylon in the United Carpathian States, please welcome His Excellency Global Community Potentate NICOLAE JETTY CARPATHIA!

(Carpathia, singing)
Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for thirty-odd years
Made many a man show his faith

My only enemy's Jesus Christ
Whose followers say is so great
I'll make damn sure those Ben-Judah-ites
Pay the price when I seal their fate

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name
But what's puzzling some
Is the nature of my fame

(Forunato, singing)
I was there; saw this Romanian
When he stormed into the U.N.
Made the world disarm ninety percent
And then gave him the other ten

I once commanded for his Ex'llency
Now I'm Most High "Rev" for the faith of he

(Carpathia, singing)
Pleased to meet you
Hope you know my name...aw, yeah
Chaim did kill me one day
But I...rose up just the same...aw, yeah!

(Rayford Steele, singing)
I will not heed Carpathia's advice
And I will not bow to this Antichrist
I shouted out, "Where'd all believers go?"
But way down they were Raptured, I know

Let me please introduce myself
I'm a man called Rayford Steele
And I run the Tribulation Force
To keep Satan on his heel

(Carpathia, singing)
Pleased to meet you
Worship, all, my name...aw, yeah!
Take the mark of the beast
Or you'll...die making your claim...oh, yes!
Get down 'n pray!

(bridge with spoken dialouge)
Carpathia: Ah, Miss Durham. Carrying my son, are you?
Hattie Durham: Yes, my dear potentate.
Carpathia: Mr. Fortunato, kill the child!
Durham: What?!

Dr. Tsion Ben-Judah: Jesus is the only one who fits the prophecies!
Cameron "Buck" Williams: Amen, brother!

Bruce Barnes: God has clearly Raptured his church. We are in the time of the Tribulation.
Buck: Uh, that's bad, right?

Carpathia: I want a peaceful world, centered in New Babylon... with humble little me in charge, of course.
U.S. President: The hell you will!
Carpathia: Exactly!
(rumbling sounds)
Rayford: The Four Horsemen are on the march!

(end of bridge)

(Carpathia, singing)
Please to meet you
Bow down to my name...aw, yeah!
What is confusing you?
You must...bow down just the same!

I will destroy all non-Carpathianists
And all "Tribulation saints"!
Only enemies do call me "Nicolae"
But we'll hunt 'em without restraint!

So, when you see me, show me courtesy
Show me sympathy and love, too!
In seven years will be the "big fight"
Which I'll sell on pay-per-view...oh, yeah!

(*BOOM*)
(God, singing)
Pleased to meet you!
Hope you know my name!

(Fortunato, speaking) Oh, God!

(God, speaking) Exactly!

(God, singing)
My Son will send you to hell
For the...playing of your games...oh, yeah!
Get down, Jesus!

(sounds of battle and screams through the outro, fade out)
Firstly, I hope I didn't mix up the names this time. Secondly, I never recorded this song, but I have recorded others... and will soon be posting MORE that I've recorded at The Sick, Sad World of Chris Wolvie

I think one has to be a fan of the series to really get into this one, it's opening verses are so much like the OS.
