The Lyrics

As sung to the snobs who can't see that SNL is still a hilarious show...
Chevy and Murray, Gilda and John
Not ready for Prime Time Play'rs
Noone could have seen this, Micheals was a genious
Comparisons are not fair
They aren't fair...
But Hammond's Bubba, but Ferrell's Dubya
Are characters so fine
Why ain't it enough for those "hardcore fans"
Who just bitch, moan and whine
Moan and whine...
I said I know, it's not as good a show, but I like it
I know, it's not as good a show, but I like it, like it, yes I do
Well I like it, I like it, I like it
Can't you see this old show's still a-funny?
Watching on Comedy Central and E!
Episodes newer and old
If the older shows are of platinum
New ones are still made of gold
They're still gold...
I still watch every Saturday night
I delay going to bed
This show past your curfew, is it really fair to
Call it Saturday Night Dead?
Is it dead?
I said I know, it's not as good a show, but I like it
I know, it's not as good a show, but I like it, like it, yes I do
And do ya think that you're the only fans that count
The show won't ever be cancelled on your account
I said I know, it's not as good a show, but I like it
I know, it's not as good a show, but I like it
I know, it's not as good a show, but I like it, like it, yes I do
Well I like it, I like it, well I like it, I like it...

Great job by someone who obviously knows what he's talking about. I have piles of tapes of the old shows and some of them were actually terrible. You gotta admit that Horatio Sanz is still not half the men that Chris Farley or John Belushi were. Peace out, I enjoyed this one, Charlie. d;:^)
