Parody Song Title:

"The Fees Of The Means"

Parody Written by:

Adagio

Small fee
Agreed
Ah!
Renew glow
I'll put tattoo on you.

Small fee
Agreed
Ah!
Renew glow
Not just any tattoo

Small fee
for me
Ah!
You are beau
It's not whipped cream, no
Not by any means

Not by any means

She's gonna corner her quarry.

Changed was he by schemes
Of newbie renewed decrees
And the jade green used in routine
Lined the kettle she possessed
Used it for her brew
From a flask drew special sand
Mixed some blood right quick
Marie stirs her tattoo brew.

Small fee
for me...

Dye it will tickle, won't get in your eyes.
Imbue with every kind.
You'll feel emotions and motions - curb
I believe it's guaranteed to blow your mind.
With no warnin' into her did romp.
So vanished Marie with hurt in her eyes.
He'll never forget to curb with his tattoo.
She split the scene in guise.

More of a thoughtful side of New Orleans (as thoughtful as tattoos get). Well written.

Thanks Jeff.

Right on time for Mardi Gras for the New Orleans theme and I think this may be the first "Redbone" song ever to be parodied on this site. Not an easy song to do and you did it so well. You get 5s for all this plus the originality. Pat, as this site goes, you may be the onion in the stew but then what good would the stew be without the onion. We'd miss your style if you ever left. You add much flavor to this place. Thanks.

Guy, that comment means a lot to me. Thank you.

I second what Guy says, Pat. Your lyrics' poetry spirals upwards and inwards in a way that few other, if any, writers' lyrics on this site do.
