I did this song as an ode to Spongebob, even though it is mostly told from Squidward being constantly annoyed by him. I kept some of the original lyrics because they did tell about Squidward. I mean, you can picture Spongebob and Patrick trying to save Squidward from that tyrannical millionaire boss of his.

I think it actually would've made more sense to name the parody "Squidwardian Rhapsody," but I didn't know how this song was going to sound when I first wrote it.

At first, I didn't think this was going to be my best. Yet, I was wrong. I know some parody authors who would have gone and done this parody horribly. And I know people (like Ghetto John) who might've made this parody even better than I did.
