The Lyrics

I've got a Queen of a Summer Cold
Is this the real deal?
Or just a passing sneeze?
Caught without tissues,
No escape from this Summer wheeze
Red in my eyes, and snot down to both my knees
I’m just a poor man, I need some relief for me
Because I always blow, don’t you know, both nostrils, here I go
Any way I’ve been told, think I have the Summer Flu and, a cold

Mama, I went through a box
Of some Puffs Plus with lotion, and have a feeling and notion
Mama, I need medicine
But there’s so many out there I can choose
Mama, ah-coo, didn’t mean to sneeze on you
If I don’t find relief by this time tomorrow
Cough and cold, cough and cold, as I’m feeling so miserable

Too high, my temperature
Sending shivers up my spine, body’s aching all the time
Goodbye, everybody, I’ve got to go
Gotta head out to the store and find relief
Mama, ooh, don’t know which to buy
I sometimes wish I was born a pharmacist

I see a silhouette of a man behind the counter
pharmacist, pharmacist, will you please help me

He asks me how I’m feeling and symptoms I start reeling
Running Nose (Always Blows) Watery Eyes (Makes Mr Cry) and I Cough a Lot
Now here I go! I’m just a sick man looking for an over the counter cure
He’s jut a sick man trying to find relief, that’s sure
Now what his best for his Nasaltrosity
May I suggest, what is best, I prefer this one
Robitussin! Now, will it cure all my ills
(Yes it will) Robitussin! Stop a running nose?
(Yes I know) Robitussin! And a fever too?
(Just for you) That and more it’s true
(All your ills) This bottle will? (All your ills) Ah
Yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes
(Oh Robitussin, Robitussin) Robitussin , here I go
Bottoms Up and down the hatch cure for me, for me, for me
So you think that you germs can spoil my vacation plans
You better think twice, welcome to Robitussin land
Oh, germies, can’t do this to me, germies
Just gonna get out, just gonna get right outta me

Now I’m feeling better, that is plain to see
Now I’m feeling better
with Robitussin inside me
Any way, no more cold

good job

A year round dilemma. Sure gets tiring being able to breathe out of only one nostril at a time. The only semi-effective medicines are now on a restricted list. I'd hate to have some gang of DEA agents break down my door and flash bang me in the middle of the night over a cold pill. I'll have to remember Robitussin.

Demo Dan - Now use a difficult original song...lol! I bow to the "Creen" for a "Mercurial" masterpiece. ;D
