The Lyrics

The Catholic Church lists Seven Deadly Sins. They are pride, negligence, greed, imprudence, hate, envy and lechery. Perhaps not sins nor kleshas, but not nice traits anyway.
Fear now all you lords and ladies, children
There's Hell for those who sin against Law high -
You'll stain your very souls you human beings
when you transgress on God's Eyes -
There are Seven Sins to Die

Can you hear me you peers and privy councillors
The First sin is the Pride and you know why
It will precede the downfall of men so mighty -
Negligence is second -
There are Seven Sins to Die

Hating - it will eat you alive
Neglecting - sloths will not survive
Greed, imprudence - pride
Lech'ry, envy, Hell forever

Greed will destroy the nature and the nation -
Envy drains the rivers mighty dry
(rivers dry, rivers dry)
Imprudence'll topple society
Lust eats you alive
The sin'll get you -

Repent now you, both high and lowly sinners
Give out the good, leave out the bad evil cries
You'll waste your life on doing deeds so harmful
And with a smile
Be strong - resist the Seven Sins to Die!

This reminds me of this documentary I saw on the History Channel about The Seven Deadly Sins! Jay Gould in the documentary is one most powerful robber barons who committed the seven deadly sins: greed. Those who go to hell for greed end up lugging a money bag heavier and taller than they are for eternity. I also learned about them in Sunday School as well. Very informative satire! 5's!
