The Lyrics

This this just keeps getting worse and worse. One of our friends, who works for a state bureau, informed us that, because of Obama's stimulus plan, every day 4 inner city youths are LIMO'D into her office to sit there all day with absolutely NOTHING to do, AND GET PAID FOR IT. And the LIMO'D back home at the end of the day!!!!!!!!!!!! The mob use to have a word for that when they had wiseguys paid on union jobs....NO SHOWS!
O...

Bama, he's the pres taken all joys
Stimulates the cheats
Changin' our lives in the worst way
Social care in our face
New Rat race
Unhealthy lives the middle class face

Screamin'

You have, just Barack'd us
U S, A has gone bust

Bama, need some hard checks man
People on our streets
Reject your take on rule these days
You've got the aid misplaced
Not embraced
Wavin' that race card all over the place

Yelling

I have, just Barack'd you
I'm pres, now so I rule

Bama, think a beer will solve plans
Speaking through some lies
Magically make the peace your way
You spoke way out of place

Cop's disgraced

The country has to return back to OUR place

Screamin'

Bar..ack, we will check you
We won't, stand for Czar Rule

We won't, be Barack fooled
Mis rule, just gets us schooled

Wow-- tricky OS. Excellent points made, and in a well-written parody to boot! (Or should that be "Das Boot"... I get so confused, lately.)

This is way angry - It's getting like the Vietnam protest songs of the 60's 'round here. I love it.

And hey-e ovah eah, huh - if youse doan gots no union guyz ya ain't toinin' not a shovel a dirt - naow gid oudda 'eah fo yo face gitz broke er sumpin. I love those wiseguys - I grew up around them. Yay beer! and what Fiddlegirl said too about the tricky OS and the excellent points. Spot on and high 5s..

Thanks, Fiddlegirl & Guy! Normally, I don't like to do political bashing parodies(I just like the "making fun' of clever ones), but all these latest issues happening are starting to scare me, especially raising 4 children. NOW, today he just announced that MIDDLE CLASS will have to have their taxes raised to pay for the health reform! I knew that was coming....

Ha, ha, hilarious! Nice to see you writing again, Mark! You got the point across, about the nation getting worse and worse. All I keep hearing is Barack discussing stimuli and bailouts in the news! I always believed that we can't expect Obama to fix this problem right away. I heard him say it takes a lot of patience to recover the economy when I saw him in the news months back. But I hope Obama can come up with an alternate idea soon! Your parody fits well with the OS, btw! 5's!

Mark - You are not alone feeling uneasy and scared. I've been uneasy since way before the elections because I could see it all coming. Just glad to see that more of us are speaking out.

Although I'm registered Republican I do not rely on that party to solve problems. I back the person who has my best interest in mind. I actually voted for Hillary in the Texas primary. That is how far back and then some that I saw this coming. My kids are grown - my youngest is 18 but I still worry about what kind of futurre he will have. I have a "politico" that should publish tomorrow. I gave the new administration six months before I began to write anything political. It is because not one thing that has been done in the past six months has pleased me that is prompting me to write some politico. Have at it when you get the urge. Ciao.

Wow! It only seems like yesterday that you were all filled with such optimism. As Roger Daltrey would sing "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"

Mark, I beg to differ, but despite my pre-election skepticism, Obama *has* made a major positive change in my attitude. Whereas I used to dislike growing older, I'm now very grateful that I'm old enough that, with a little luck, I won't live long enough to see the complete downfall of this country and the destruction of everything for which it once stood.

Since you put a lot of work into this song, I can't give you anything for it (Obama has announced a 100% tax on all votes above 333), but if you'd posted an empty page, you'd get 555.

Lots of funny things start to happen when money is on the line; nicely pointed out. Didn't GM go bust by paying people for not working? Maybe as new owner, the Govt. is adopting some of those fine auto company policies.

Very good job of pointing out how the czars and everything else are getting out of hand.

Thanks, Alvin! Thanks, Timmy. Good point. LOL! Thanks, John. It is getting out of hand!

I feel the need to side with Double T on this, especially in his first sentence. I just don't like to see parodys discrediting the Prez. He's only been in office a short time, and time will tell how well he's gonna do in office. I am unsure about how I will rate this composition.

To APWDNWTGHOHN: That's fine, the purpose of the song was to create a creative PARODY, and the opinion of MOST of the country is opposition to this Health Care reform.

Just got my first read of this, fine spoofing Mark. Funny and scary all at the same time! $555 tax increase for you.
