Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Messers up against the bomber streams in the last year of the war...
Up high, here they come
Bomber stream, 1000
Looking for targets,
something to bomb
Fighters on the way
up from German soil
Their Revi sights aiming
as German blood boils
Gunners look out the windows
.50 cals unload
At enemy presence
30 mils strike blows!

Fighting birds, birds
caught in this latter stage
Birds, birds
caught in this aerial cage

Fighting the Experten
aerial war,
Messers strike hard blows
Mustangs hit back hard,
Time after time
they roar right through the stream
And that jet wonder
no props can be seen
Sticks of bombs rattle
below target prime
MK-108s blazing
engines flaming this time!

Fighting birds, birds
caught in this latter stage
Birds, birds
caught in this aerial cage

Thanks, but re-submitted due to technical error with my name! For those that have some trouble following these WW2 parodies here is a list of terms: Messers= Messerschmitts (usually Bf 109s), Revi= German fighter sight, jet wonder is the Me-262 Schwalbe, MK-108 is a German 30mm cannon (4 for the Me-262 in the nose, and up to 3 for the Bf 109s with one in the prop spinner and 2 underwing, augmented by 2x 20mm MG-151/20s in latter models! Target prime would be an industrial area. Experten refer to German aces with above 10 kills and Mustangs of course refer to P-51Ds.
