Parody Song Title:

"Spinach Eatin' Man"

Parody Written by:

Guy DiRito

The Lyrics

On spinach I dine,
Then they whine,
When's I beats 'em.
Tearin' 'em,
Limb from limb..

Bluto came along,
Boy he's strong,
That's when we fought.
Turned me to,
Cabbage stew.

Can'ts makes him chill,
Nots until I can finds me.
That ol' green hay,
In that can that refines me.
I yam whats I yam,
A spinach eatin' man.
Spinach eatin' man.

It gets me in gear,
Gots no peer,
Fisks gets all twirled.
Spinach king,
Gots that zing.

Eat it on a bun,
Just for fun,
It's my edge, see.
Can't go wrong,
Makes me strong.

Can'ts makes him chill,
Nots until I can finds me.
That ol' green hay,
In that can that refines me.
I yam whats I yam,
A spinach eatin' man.
Spinach eatin' man.

Fine work, as usual, Guy. May I add: "I squeezes the can/Wit' me hand/Out comes gushing/Arcing splash/Down me hatch"......This song rules! Survival of the foodiest! d;:^)

Oh - I really like that verse Bob. Wish I would have thought of that angle. I'll give you 5's on that one.

:D Good one! I especially liked the way you worked in how Popeye really talks with your rhymes.

Great work, Guy.

Well, blow me down! Uck-uck-uck-uck! It's not easy to do a song with somebody who don't quite talk no good English. I've tried it with "Cookie" and "Back on the Jane Bang," and was exhausted after both. This was, as Popeye might put it, skintillating!

I loved popeye...until my brother tried to do as Popeye did...he got a hammer and was about to let my sister have a good knock to the head when my mother happened to look in and see him...he wanted to see the famous bump come up on her head after the hit and the little tweety birds circling the lump! Happily my mother stopped it before it happened! This parody was great fun though! Great stuff!

You mean that stuff doesn't really happen? Thanks all for the great comments and votes. It was fun to do.
