Kim Jong Il
Scare of North Korea
Kim Jong Il
Hair supplied by Chia
Kimmy, love
The Axis Of
Evil's where you dwell
So if you flip a birdie at the West
You gotta know that they'll
Blow your butt to hell
Kim Jong Il
Cartin' off detractors
Kim Jong Il
Startin' up reactors
Leader Dear
I truly fear you won't be changing your voice
Then before you know it you'll be like Saddam
You simply got no choice
[Background vocals courtesy of the Authoritarian Socialist Children's Choir:]
Kim (Kim) Jong (Jong) Il (Il)
Bangin' with the wrong gang
Kim (Kim) Jong (Jong) Il (Il)
Hangin' out in Pyongyang
Slangin' dope?
I'm losin' hope for you, and scared for Iran
'Cause before you know it they're re-running M*A*S*H
And we're at war again
Kim (Rim) Jong (Job) Il (Ill)
[Violin takes this line]
Kim (Rim) Jong (Job) Il (Ill)
[Once again with this line]
[Fade to red]
Scare of North Korea

Hair supplied by Chia....hahahahaahaha....great job
Hair supplied by Chia - Yeah, me too, I almost lost it! Very very good and funny!!! This guy is so whacked you did him justice.
Thanks, Billy and Guy.
Yeah you had that CHIA thing going on , Man! LOL! Great job Spaff.
Excellent from start to finish!
I can HEAR the choir. Outstanding almost covers it.
This is fantastic! In fact, this is Merry's 'pick of the week'. Hope to see this in the top 10.
Great song, funny and well done, but I am confused about one little point. This leaders name, and I will put it all in caps. to illustrate my point is KIM JONG IL. Upper case I (i) and lower case l (L) look the same on the screen. Is the name in this song KIM JONG IL or kim jong ii? Just curious. Either way this is a masterpiece.
Never mind - I just did a character search on the song. Don't know why I didn't think of this before. I answered my own question. It is il. Man you just can't tell the lower case L's from the upper case i's by just looking.
Loved it...now I'll look closely at his hair..:D
Wow, thanks, Wild & John & Claude & Dude (Merry) & Pat. And Guy: You got it - it's KIM JONG IL (sometimes hyphenated as JONG-IL). As if the guy didn't have enough problems, he's also graphically challenged, since capital i and lowercase L are identical in many fonts. Maybe the fear of being called Kim Jong The Second is what makes him such a megalomaniac. :-)
Hey spaff - Don't give the guy any ideas - One of him is one too many.
Hey Spaff - Dennis Miller is stealing your Chia line. He was just on Fox News at the end of the Hannity and Combes segment and made reference to Kim Jong Il's hair being supplied by Chia. Gee do you think he read your parody? Actually he called him the Chia dictator. Here's the link on FOXNEWS.COM with his comment about Chia:

Here's Miller's quote:
"Kim Jong Il must be ruthless because you usually don’t get to head up a country when you look that freaky. He’s like the Buddy Holly of the Pan-Pacific Rim. Weird hair -- like a Chia-Dictator. I hope if they eventually blow that head off, somebody has the good sense to put it in a jar and bring it back home, because I know I’d pay a nickel to see that up close in a tent."

LOL, Guy!
Prehaps we should look in to copyrighting our parodys. You'd think that Chucky G's copyright would hold up for all who post ? I'm not real clear about this.
Do you have a COMMENT Chucky G ?
Do you have a COMMENT Chucky G ?
First, to Wild's comment: You own the copyright on anything you write. You don't have to apply. You don't even have to use that cute little (c) symbol if you don't wanna. You write it, you own it. If, however, you ever find yourself in a dispute about who wrote what when, it's helpful to have published it somewhere. That's why we all owe a debt of gratitude to Chucky; by putting our stuff up on his site, we have published it. Now, to Guy: At last count, there were a whopping 15 people who had paid enough attention to this parody to rate it, so the odds of Dennis Miller being one of them aren't very great. I suspect that he and I (and countless others who must get visions of Chia Pets when they see KJI's hair) originated the idea independently. But thank you, because it's a quite a compliment to think that Dennis Miller would be scouring my parodies for material.
Spaff - So glad you saw this. I really wanted you to see that someone as big as Dennis Miller would use this in his commentary. It says a lot for your parody which I still think is one of the funniest lines I have read out here. I just really wanted you to see Miller's commentary. Fine original imagination.
Hmm... this must be from where I remember having seen all those remarks about chia hair. Now I get it. Thanks to Melhi, Diva and Guy who directed me back here from

I liked it, S.c. Wrote one of my own about Mr. Chia head last month as a parody of "Paint It Black". He's ripe parody material, albeit on the dark and creepy side...
Oh and my vote was 5,5,5
Thanks, Peter and Johnny bo bonny. And G'd'R - again.
Excellent because you and I both know That It's All Over Now, Kim Jong II.
Thanx, Baby Blue, er, Tim.
That "chia" line is going to come back any time I see a pictue of him now.
mac: Chia should market a Kim Jong Il head. Seriously. I, for one, would buy it.
Im getting tired of writing iM revoting
i wanna hear this song. how can i play it?
amy: Got a guitar? (It's just lyrics at this point.)
I just re-read all of the other 27 parodies of this OS. There are several very clever parodies, but only Spaff was able to come up with 3 different choruses that match the rhyming pattern of the OS. You are the paradigm, Spaff!
Belated thanks, Johnkins. If you read that many parodies of "Song Sung Blue," you must have been working on one yourself. Or insane. I'll have to search and see which it is.
