The Lyrics

There's a Savior who comes
with a sword in His mouth
and He's bringing the Kingdom of Heaven
When He gets here the blood will run up to the bridles
With His Word He will claim who He came for
oooh
and He's bringing the Kingdom of Heaven

Here's your sign on the wall,
Now's your time to be sure
Cause you know this may be your last warning

In a tree by the brook there's a songbird who sings
Calling you to the Kingdom of Heaven

ooo ... does it make you wonder?

There's a feeling I get when I look to the West
and my Spirit is crying for leaving
In John's dream have you seen
The sea of glass filled with fire
And the voices of saints who stand singing

A___le lu_YAH do you wanna go there?
A___le lu_YAH
Come up here to heaven

And it's whispered that soon
if we all call the tune
Then Messiah will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn
For those who stand long
And the heavens will echo rejoicing

Oooh
oh_oh-oh_oh-oh ooo
[Angels dance rejoicing]
Hear the Spirit calling
A__oh
a-le-ale-ale-ale-lu-Yah

Yes there are two paths you can go by
choose the straight one
Now's the time to change the road you're on
Beloved can you hear the wind blow?
and did you know?
Yah's Spirit flies like the wind__

C;C;: Alelu_____ Alelu_____ Alelu_____Ya__ah :C;C;

And as you wind on down your road
Your shadow taller than your soul
There walks a Savior you must know
Who shines white light and wants to show
Jah's Word can turn your heart to gold
And if you listen very hard
His tune will come to you at last
All will be One when One is all:
Jahweh: the Rock that doesn't roll

A le lu YAH
A le lu YAH
A le Lu YAH

Are you climbing that Stairway to Heaven?

So... this ISN'T about that film Orlando Bloom singlehandedly ruined then?

I'm going to abstain from voting on this, if you don't mind. I can't deny it's written with some skill - but it's pretty obvious you're selling a 'message' with this offering - and it's one I can't buy into, I'm afraid. I can't be insincere and vote it highly when it irks me for that very reason - but at the same time it would be unfair of me to vote it down for that reason too.

Great version of this song. Pure genius. Matched the pacing well, gave you a 1 on how funny, but only because I don't think being funny was your intent. I'm on the pathway to heaven, but I keep straying off, just need to stay on the path.

Just a point when you're voting, Brian. 'Funny' can also mean entertaining or satisfying, so if you like the piece you should vote up not down. A '1' is usually interpreted as disapproval. You can't change your vote now but keep it in mind for the future.
