The Lyrics

...a 'green acres' parody...
ritzy farmer's not a hick, dude
got a fedora on his head
he's really got the wealth to spread here
pretty soon he's gonna hire eb
what in the world is the shriveled shrub ?
surely not the corn you love
plant the earth, he's wantin' to do
till crops ensue...yeah, dude

ritzy farmer's in the sticks, dude
he just don't look right in this place
but more at home is lisa, dahling
cause she's just as crazed
plowin' the world and livin' free
puttin' up with lunacy
sowin' earth, he has left the bar
a fancy car ?
well, right you are

and he still farms on
with the loons...near and far...havin' fun
well, he still farms on
everyone's...dumb 'uns

ritzy farmer takes his licks, dude
but he stays right on his feet
hooterville is full of bumpkins
everyone you meet
why in the world is he here ?
gives a speech and music soon appears
why in the world should he care ?
weirdness everywhere
and he gets his share

yet he still farms on
with the loons...near and far...havin' fun
yeah, he still farms on
on and on and on and on

yeah yeah...alright...uh huh...ah

yet he still farms in
with the loons...near and far...havin' fun
yeah, he still farms on
with the loons...near and far...havin' fun
yet he still farms on
with the loons...near and far...havin' fun

Sir Alvin, The ~Mighty Duke o'Dice~ this sounds a tad like life on theCampagna . . . . but where are the Cougars? ? A ranch is never complete without those animals of prey!

I watched this one episode of "Green Acres" on TVLand called "The Milk Maker". (The one where Luke Needlinger invents his milk making machine). Very enjoyable and hilarious. Allow me to grow and harvest three sets of 5's for ya! What a wonderful song, dahling!
