The author has a great point. If people would just quit trying to preserve their lives and property, criminals wouldn't have to use guns. How did no one think of this before?
on this anniversary of the assassination of John Lennon, would i have preferred it if Yoko Ono had been able to pull out a 44 magnum and blow Chapman away? sure, but i wouldn't have even had to ask that question if Chapman couldn't have gotten a gun in the first place.
