Many thanks, Meriadoc and Leough....The main reason why I write parodies, is that I intend to sing them(in public places)....I regularly do.....I love the surprised look on faces and smiles too...So far on this sight , I have done 10...I commit them to memory and dress the part or use props when I do them.... Only a few videos of me are on youtube.....I found out that me and Wierd Al have the same birthday,born on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio -October 23(myself 4 years earlier - year of the goat....But who's superstitious ! Most of the songs I tackle are what most people 'round my age can identify... And I tend to read those parodies over others

I thought this would be a 'Black Christmas' effort, but you balanced the magic and the nostalgia with the humor perfectly. I echo Leough's choice of standout lines. For a nastier view of this time of the year, check out my effort today 'Bucket Beside'. Best 555s of the season.
