Now it's mid-July and it's festival time
Time for me to assist the library
At our own booth by the kids' area
And hand out balloons to the little kids

And then for two days over a whole weekend
Hundreds of people attend the Arts Fest
Those who bring kids come to the library booth
Suddenly everyone makes requests for:

Ballons pour les petits enfants
Ballons pour tout le monde
Ballons pour les petits enfants
Ballons pour tout le monde

Now some people come to the library tent
Others would rather let me come to them
I offer parents info; the kids get balloons
To get them to visit the library

And back at the tent the librarians assist
Helping me hand out our balloons
The helium is provided by the city
And I provide all the ribbon for:

Ballons pour les petits enfants
Ballons pour tout le monde

After the weekend is all over
I take some balloons to my neighbors
But still, I often sometimes feel a little down
Having to wait another year

So it's mid-July again and festival time
I hope that this year is even better
People will come to the library tent
