Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Why do people always think having a clone would make everything easier. Who's to say they would take orders from you. They are you, they respond to things exactly how you would. Wouldn't they?
Chorus: Down in my lab, some call me mad
Making clones better than you’ve seen
Mixtures react, inside a flask
Product of this mixture
Can do my tasks

Verse 1: My whole bathroom could use a scrub
And here’s fair warning
There’s a frog in my tub
Sink’s full of gunk from failed version’s of you
But my plans just won’t be
Because they’re lazy as me…

Chorus: Lounging all day, ate all my Lays
Lazy clone better move his feet
Redo the math, ready and primed
Try a new concoction
Please work this time

Verse 2: Heed what I said
“Make up my bed!”
And if there’s time
You can clean out the shed
Clone 1 is sleepin’
And Clone 2’s no use, and
Now looking back
It’s way worse with two

Chorus: Bushes aren’t tamed, laundry’s still stained
Lazy clones never do their chores
House is a wreck, I wanna cry
I will give this potion
Just one more try

[Instrumental Break- many failed clones]

Clone more me’s! Woo!

Verse 3: Trouble with them
Is they’re ‘xactly like me
Love to do science
But hate to clean
Stuck in this stink
I shudder to think
My neighbors have viewed
The sight of twelve me’s nude

Chorus: Can’t host a mouse, more clone than house
Lazy clones litter all you see
Muddling low, bumbling high
Some move in slow motion
Until lunchtime

Chorus: Clog in my drain, drives me insane
Lazy clones never do a thing!
Came from my head, now they’re alive
Is killing clones murder
Or suicide?

Chorus: Down in my lab, now I am mad
Lazy clones better get out fast
Bubble and pop, you know! Boil and fry
I have made a potion
Make clones go bye

Chorus: Netflix been viewed, ate all my food
Lazy clones spoiled Stranger Things
Not worth their heads
You know, wasted my time!
If I’d done the motion
Then I’d be fine…

Outro: And you know that notion, just crossed my mind

I've cloned three 5's for you. Very clever.

Loved it- 555! Remember "Multiplicity?"

This one was a lot of fun! Reminded me of a Calvin and Hobbes strip where he clones himself and his clones keep getting him into trouble. Any inspiration?

(Artistry) This is why you always gotta do a little brain modification when you clone yourself. Not that I speak from experience. As far as you know. You managed to get a lot of humour of the simple OS, I'm impressed. Loved the dark humour of the "sink’s full of gunk from failed versions of you" line. 555 more clones!

Very very funny stuff. I think the bouncy nature of the OS really helped with the kind of slapstick, sill comedy of the parody. I'd love to see a video of this one (or at least a recording!) Great work!
