In a little while from now
when I'm feeling very less sour
I promised myself to treat myself
to lower my debt-load's tower.
I write another check
for finances a wreck
in an effort to make it clear to who-
ever's bugging me for my money
left standing in the lurch
on a perch in banker's hours.

at how my cash disappears
