The Lyrics

(instrumental intro)

Well I'm --

Storm-chasing -- on The Great Plains!
Most other people think I haven't got brains!
Come on twister,
Let me see how you dance!
I'm storm-chasing! I'm storm-chasing!

You don't have to see my brain,
To know that it's pretty lame!
All of,
My close friends know --

-- how I cheer-and-wail,
When I'm hit and hurt by hail!

I wanna go
Where it's brewin'
Then, I'll fol-low!

I'm screwed-up, it's true!
See me make a stupid rendezvous!

I've got no crew!
I go alone 'cause they know I'm a fool!

That's why I'm --

Storm-chasing -- it's so bizarre!
A fat tornado is approaching my car!
Run out
Of gas now
And my ass is grass!
I'm storm-chasing! I'm storm-chasing!

If that storm turns right,
Maybe I'll live through the night!
Shall I chase it and see?

Fun-nel clouds chase me from the sky!
Oh-oh boy, make haste or die!
Stop and you will not survive -- you'll be ground-up human beef!

Am I fast enough?
Will I be ready when the wind is rough?

Now I'm feeling fright!
Did the Doppler Radar guide me right?

Whoa -- I'm --

Storm-chasing -- I need more speed!
I'm getting nervous, in my pants I just peed!
Come on Chrysler,
You're my last hope and chance!
I'm storm-chasing! I'm storm-chasing!

( --- "Emergency Alert System" siren interlude --- )

I'm screwed-up, it's true!
See me make a stupid rendezvous!

(Ohh) That twister blew --
-- right in on top of me before I knew!

Well, I'm --

Storm-chasing -- twister got me!
The wind is howling at two-hundred-and-three!
Sucked in-to
the sky,
I crapped in my pants!
I'm storm-chasing! I'm storm-chasing!

(STORM-CHASING!)

Into the sky!

(STORM-CHASING!)

I think I might die!

(STORM-CHASING!)

Now I feel like Toto ----

(STORM-CHASING!) "Dorothy -- " (STORM-CHASING!) " -- here we go!"

(STORM-CHASING!)

Yikes, I'm soiling my drawers!

(STORM-CHASING!)

Call The Wizard of Oz!

(STORM-CHASING!)

Ask him if he'd mind,

(STORM-CHASING!) Wiping (STORM-CHASING!) my behind !!

Just once, I'd like to chase a twister out on the plains of Oklahoma, but it's not anything I'm obsessed with. This was funnier than a cow swirling around helplessly in an F-5!

I'm more the storm-cowering type, myself, but hey, whatever twists your wind, man! :) (funny stuff, btw.)
