The Lyrics

I know William Tong did a parody to this OS about the same chap, but.. hey, that was eight years ago and McCain's still running. And looking like he stands a better chance now (but looking at the competition for the Republican nomination, that seems hardly surprising)
I wonder who's voting for
That good ol' senator
Is it the people's voice
Or just a lack of choice

He's not sly
That's why I
Like that guy

He ain't as rich as Mitt
But he's no slimy git
And as for Huckerbee
He'll take that sucker, see

He's alright
Not too right-
Wing and bright

But, hell, what chance has he
Of beating Hillary
But I still want to know
Just who could vote for B.O.

He's OK
That's to say
He's not gay

But his grin
Is it spin
Could he win????

Methinks a lack of choice, but to whatever extent the (GOPpy) people's voice, hopefully drown-outable by ones raised on behalf of either Hil or BO. Likely won't know with absolute certainty which choice I'll voice 'til it's booth time in MD next Tue. Meanwhile, I've no choice but to raise my voice in praise of yet another fine parody. 5s.

Good stuff, Phil. Your version is not repetitive or forced, like Mr. Tong's. A lot of good good questions to which we will probably have to wait 9 months to find out the answers. I hope Mr. Smart, who invited this parody, stops by to deliver some 5s to you.

Thanks, everyone :-)
JJ - WT's version is not one of his best, but it's hard to make a parody to this OS rip-roaringly funny. And I'm sure Max will put in an appearance at some point.
Speaking as a Brit, this year's race looks a lot more fun than the last couple...
