The Lyrics

Dedicated to Leonard Skinner, the most famous ptomaine poisoning victim in American history.
VERSE 1:I feel really sick,
pass the barf bag quick,
Ptomaine....

It's gone straight to my head,
now I'm almost half-dead,
Ptomaine...

CHORUS:I don't like,I don't like,I don't like...
Ptomaine....

VERSE 2:That was lousy food,
I need a doctor,dude,
Ptomaine....

My GI tract's shot,
and I'm heavin' a lot,
Ptomaine...

(repeat chorus)

VERSE 3:It's a lousy disease,
Leaves you weak in the knees,
Ptomaine....

Gives your stomach fits,
and shreds it to bits,
Ptomaine...

(repeat chorus one more time, then fade out)

Food poisoning itself is no joke, but you certainly paced this well and put some witty words in the patient's mouth: fives all round!

Leonard Skinner? You mean Ronnie Van Zant's teacher? (Hence the band's namesake. No joke.) And it's hard to go wrong with a food/overeating/fat parody. Some of us are up to the challenge, though.

Thanks to everybody for their positive reviews and feedback. To answer Michael Pacholek's question, the Leonard Skinner I'm referring to is the unfortunate kid in Alan Sherman's "Camp Granada" who contracts ptomaine one night after dinner.
