The Lyrics

Cockayne (Cockaigne, CucaƱa, Kukania, Cucanha) is a mythical land of Medieval folklore. It is a land of plenty, where there is no need for work, enough food and drink for everyone, eternal May, five Easters every year, Christmas lasts for one month and there is one day of fasting each century. Unfortunately, to get there you need to wade upstream a neck-deep stream of faeces for five years...
If you want to get free
off your harsh baron-ee
Cockayne!
Land of plenty and rest
it's the place that is best
Cockayne!

It is good,
lots of food
stuff that's brewed -
Cockayne!

Land where food is abound
and the wine springs off ground
Cockayne!
There is forever May,
land where you want to stay
Cockayne!

Trees grow bread,
till 10 in bed
cakes fill shed -
Cockayne!

Fifteen minutes of work
every day is enough
Cockayne!
You have all kinds of fun
it's best place under sun
Cockayne!

It's delight
sun is bright
starry nights -
Cockayne!

You seem to have a certain white powder on the brain, today Susanna. BTW, do you have any children? The reason I ask is that Mother's Day is happening here in America this Sunday ... Might include you in my collection of Mother's Day greeting songs.

Yup - that stuff is wheat flour, I have been baking today. We will be spending the mother's day at my parents' place - all three generations together.
